Design and Project Management
This was the complete renovation of an 80’s apartment, tailored to suit the functional lifestyle of its new occupants. The brief was to create synergy between the custom-designed and existing designer pieces as well as the lighting and colors.
The first objective was to create a free flow between the kitchen and living area, bringing brightness and harmony to the rooms. All built-in storage areas and cupboards were eliminated in favor of open spaces. The finishes were selected to fit in with the new interior spaces and proportions and much consideration was given to the selection of materials, most of which are sustainable and environmentally friendly.. The decor is casual and comfortable, with selected design pieces. Although each room was conceived with its own identity, the sum of the combined spaces offers a harmonious effect. The whole project consists of neutral, subdued tones with just a few hints of colour.
